Hollywood actress Vanessa Hudgens has a warning for muggers and robbers go near her and she’ll blast you with her gun.

 

The 20 year old High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has just moved in a new Hollywood home and admits she feels vulnerable living on her own, so she’s invested in a taser gun that will zap bad guys with a painful blast of electricity.

Hudgens tells Us Weekly magazine,

“I keep a taser in my purse for self-defense. I’m moving into a new house by myself and it’s scary.”


Seth Rogen Hunts Online Impersonator

Hollywood actor Seth Rogen is hunting down an internet impostor who has been posting fake messages posing to be Rogen on social networking website Twitter.com.

Thousands of fans have ‘befriended’ the Knocked Up star on the website which allows users to interract with the public.

But Rogen insists it’s not him.

He says,

“That’s not me on Twitter.com I have never partaken in any social networking website on the internet. I’m not on Facebook, MySpace and I’m definitely not on Twitter. But apparently there is a fake ‘me’ on the website.”

“It’s so a world I don’t have anything to do with. I just think it’s bullshit. Go out there and talk to people.”


Former Nanny Files Lawsuit Against Robert De Niro

Robert De Niro and wife Grace Hightower are facing legal action from a former nanny who has accused the star couple of owing her more than $40,000 in overtime payments.

Former nanny Alexis Barry says,

“I went to work for the couple back in 2006 looking after thier son Elliot and they agreed to pay me $31.25 an hour and $46.88 per hour overtime.”

Barry has now filed papers in New York’s Manhattan Supreme Court claiming she clocked up 750 hours of overtime in her ten months working for the couple, but has not been paid for her extra service.

The lawsuit also claims that Barry never received 10 days of vacation time which she was promised, according to TMZ.com 


Destiny’s Child To Reunite For Final Album

R&B superstars Destiny’s Child are set to reunite to record one final album and sources say the decision is not by choice, they still owe Columbia Records one last album according to their contract. 

The multiple Grammy Award winning group comprising of Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams left fans heartbroken when they split back in 2005 since then their return has been highly anticipated.

Beyonce Knowles has since carved out a highly successful career as a solo artist and actress, while Kelly Rowland and Mechelle Williams have not been so succesful. 


Miley Cyrus Kid’s Choice Awards Tears Were For Real

Miley Cyrus has ripped into cynical critics who questioned her tears at the Kid’s Choice Awards on Saturday March 28, 2009, but admits she’s embarrassed about losing her cool at the ceremony. 

The actress/singer broke into tears as she accepted her Favorite Female Singer honor, and insists she really was overcome with emotion when her name was read out during an onstage skit with host Dwayne Johnson.

 

She tells MTV News,

“I was a little embarrassed… but it meant something to me, because it’s from the kids and the kids are more important than anything else in the world. So it made me happy.

“Honestly, I didn’t think I was going to win it. It just made my day that I did.”


Queen Latifah Sued By Her Beauty Team

Queen Latifah is at the center of an ugly legal battle she is facing two lawsuits over accusations she failed to pay her make-up artist and stylist over $1 million in fees. 

In two separate suits filed in a Manhattan court on Monday March 30, 2009 the rapper/actress is accused of owing money to celebrity cosmetologist Roxanna Floyd and stylist Susan Moses.

Floyd claims she is owed $700,000 for work she provided between July 2005 and February 2008.

Meanwhile, stylist Susan Moses states Latifah failed to adhere to a payment of $300,000 for the same period.

The star’s representative, Amanda Silverman, insists the lawsuits have no merit, but cannot comment further due to legal reasons.
