Will Smith has added his name to the list of stars who want to be the first black James Bond, insisting he’ll be the best choice for producers.

Rap mogul Diddy and Jamie Foxx have both put their names forward as a possible replacement for current 007 Daniel Craig, and recently Obsessed star Idris Elba suggested he’d be a better choice because he’s British.

Diddy went so far as to shoot a 007 themed TV ad for his fragrance line in an effort to show producers what he’d look like as a black Bond.

But Will Smith insists he’s the best choice

“Puff probably lives the most like James Bond and Jamie Foxx got the swagger for James Bond. He can sing too, so he can add a new element to Bond, wooing the ladies.”

“But I think I can guarantee the box office!”
